Hello Friend! This short letter is from John Adams, one of America’s Founding Fathers. He writes to the Massachusetts Militia in 1798.

I hope you are doing well and enjoying the Christmas season! It’s always a wonderful time of year to reflect on Jesus’ birth, and how He came to save us from our sins. I’m writing you this letter to encourage you in this season to stand firm for the truth of God’s Word.

I want to remind you today that God loves you! Yes, He specifically cares about you. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
